So, we have managed to put 3 months under our belt and we are coming to the 100 day mark, the Baek-il celebration. A Korean belayed birthday celebration that occurs after 100 days. This is due to the high mortality rates during the first few months of life, this marks the passage through that critical time period. Thanks to some Korean friends here in town, we may have the chance to participate in a this tradition.
It leaves me curious though, do other cultures also have traditions celebrating a babies 3-month birthday?
